Fast growing cover vine for a “chain link”

I have a German shepherd who barks at anything that moves. My next door neighbors have small children and the barking is something intolerable at times. We have a chain link fence. I cannot replace it for a wooden privacy fence because we have so many trees that we will be forced to cut before doing so. Is there any fast creeping ivy that we can grow that could climb to a chain link fence?
I live in Urbana, Illinois.

Virginia Creeper may be a good choice for you. Fast growing, green leaves that turn oranges to reds in the fall.

Here are a few links for you.
