Evergreens for privacy zone 6b

I am about to move and need some guidance on good choices for tall screening between my yard and the next property. I am looking for height, thickness, and variety (eleagnus mixed in with other tall evergreens, for instance?). The strip of earth is narrow (1 ft. wide, 45 ft. long). What can I accomplish in such a space?
