Euonymus Golden Leaf Color

I recently purchased two Euonymus Golden shrubs for the front yard. The leaves are a beautiful green and golden yellow. I noticed online that some pictures of these shrubs show plants that have leaves that are almost entirely yellow. I did read that allowing more sunlight increases the yellowing in the leaves but I was wondering if there is anything that I can add to the soil to encourage more golden color?

The sunlight is the only thing that will encourage more yellow in a healthy way. It has to do with how much energy the plant can produce from the sun.
