Eucalyptus Tree New Growth

My eucalyptus tree is about 14 yrs old and has never been cultivated. It is about 20/30 feet high and started sprouting new growth from the trunk and existing branches. What do I need to do to keep healthy and safe please? Cheers, Steve Cambridgeshire
