Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy Eucalyptus tree is about 3 years old and has several areas that look like it is bleeding with a wound that is split open and looks terrible. The one area is about 6 inches long and 2 inches wide. This tree has several of these areas on it. Is it doomed? Did I fail to do something like fertilizing? Help!! A very beautiful tree! Can this tree be saved? The areas go pretty deep, also.

Unfortunately, these trees are susceptible to various fungi that can cause these symptoms. Is there anything else going on with the tree that might help us better pinpoint the exact problem?
It might be wise to contact your local extension service. They may have information on any fungi that are causing problems in your area.
