eucalyptus tree

We planted a eucalyptus tree in spring. Its name is unknown to me but it has the classic eucalyptus leaves you buy in craft stores for flower arrangements. It has been beautiful for six months until last week. The leaves all appear to be drying up. It is on a drip irrigation system so the waterings have been even the entire time. It has, however, rained over 2 inches in the last couple of weeks which is a lot for Las Vegas. That is the only change I can think of. Do you have any idea what may be wrong with it? It is the only plant in our yard having problems.

Yes, it could be attributed to the vast amounts of rain and will likely clear up on its own. However, it wouldn’t hurt to treat the tree with a fungicide in the event that one should develop as a result of all the moisture.
