eucalyptus tree

I have a eucalyptus plant which I have planted too close to the house. Can I put it in a large pot to stop it from growing too big, or is this not a good idea for such a plant?

Yes, they can grow fine in containers as long as the pot is large enough to accommodate its roots and provides adequate drainage. It may also help to prune the tree back if it is getting too large.
