I purchased a bunch of eucalyptus for a floor vase and detected an odor, perhaps of cat urine. What should the plant’s aroma be similar to?

Eucalyptus can have a strong smell. Typically, most people describe the smell like Vick's Vaporub, but it is slightly different for different people. If these are dried stems, you can spray them with clear spray paint to seal them and reduce the smell.
