eucalyptus leaves turning brown

Eucalyptus has been growing vigorously for the last few years following a cutting down. Our winter this year in BC was colder than normal followed by heavy rains. I suspect it is seriously stressed. Someone recommended cutting it back and letting it start again. Following the first cutting we were blessed by 5 or six trunks.

I would let is sit for awhile. While it may have lost leaves in the cold, it can easily regrow them as long as the branches are still pliable.

Once you see new growth, you can cut away what is dead.
