Eucalyptus Ficifolia Dying

Question

My 60 year old Eucalyptus ficifolia has a branch where all its leaves die in a few days. It is in well drained, sandy soil on the Vic Coast, and is huge. I am worried whatever has killed the branch will spread to the whole tree.
