Eucalyptus

We have a eucalyptus tree that is about 5 years old and has been doing fantastically, then all of a sudden (well since the bad snow we had in the northeast) the leaves have turned brown and now in places very dark brown, and looks extremely sorry for itself. Do you think it is dying as a result of the bad weather – it has always been fine in previous years? I hate the thought of losing it, as it is now about 4m high.

The weather is likely the culprit. While it may have been fine in the past during cold weather, things like extra moisture in the soil, extra winds or even slightly colder temperatures can harm the tree. If it is alive, it will regrow its leaves.
