Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI planted a 5 foot tall eucalyptus tree last spring that had two trunks. And the reason I picked this tree was because of the speed it grows and the height it reaches quickly. It grew about 2 feet last year but from this spring it started growing at amazing speed. Unfortunately, someone has cut 2 feet from the top of it and since then the last two branches below the cuts started growing upward. I would like to know if these two branches will grow as tall as the original trunk? Thank you

Regular top pruning is done to most Eucalyptus trees, so your tree should recover and grow with no issues.
