Q.Eradicating Running Bamboo
I am trying to dig out a running bamboo plant and ensure that I am not leaving behind any roots/rhizomes that may sprout new growth. There are lots of fragments of little spindly/spidery roots. These are no longer attached to a rhizome or larger root. But is there a risk that they could grow into something more substantial?

It can take years to completely eradicate running bamboo. Any piece left in the soil has the potential to start growing. You have to remove it as soon as you see new growth. Here is more information:
