Epiphyllum plant

My epiphyllum plant is turning red on the edges. And new growth is coming out dark red.
Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?
Thank you, Brenda

Too much sun can cause the tips to turn red.
A mature plant can likely handle the amount of sunshine but a younger plant cannot.
