Q.Entwined Roots Through Bottom Of Pot

Hello I think I need to repot a strong healthy YUCCA ELEPHANTI but I have noticed strong white roots have come through pot holes, is it OK to cut these to get it out of its pot or will it die?

You should be able to untangle and push them back through the pot to get them out. Avoid cutting off the roots unless that is the only option. Here is more:
