Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comAfter digging up rhizomes for nearly two months, I believe I have almost eliminated the worst offenders and controlled the spread of plants. What my question is, is should I be concerned with the small hair like roots that may have been attached to a larger rhizome that have separated from the larger rhizomes. There are many of these and I am concerned that they will regenerate into more bamboo plants. I plan on covering the entire area with heavy ply black plastic. How long do I leave the plastic in place?
