Elephant ears sprouting with deformed leaves

I’ve been growing elephant ears for 10 years in Indiana successfully. Last winter all my corms turned to mush – I bought new. This spring a couple had a few soft spots and fungus on sprout tips but I pitched them too, planting the remainder. They’re finally sprouting but some have leaves that are small, deformed, and have holes.
Help me please!

Your bulb may be having some effect of fungus or the bulb rot that you mention. Though the exterior of the bulb appeared normal, it may have also suffered some damage.
Make sure that the bulbs have proper drainage.
