Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comHow long should it take dormant bulbs to ‘wake up’ after planting? I am in central South Carolina, and I set them out about 4 weeks ago. Elephant ear bulbs have been known to take up to 8 weeks to sprout after being put back into the ground, so yours may still be fine. Alternatively, there may be rotten areas on some of the bulbs. You could dig a couple up and check whether that’s the problem.
