Elephant Ear Pests

Something is munching on my EEs. I have been reluctant to treat the problem until I could identify the offender, so that I have the best chance at stopping the problem. Days, nights, no matter. I never see them. I never see any signs of slugs, earwigs, grasshoppers, etc. Meanwhile, they are being munched. I do see sawflies on my wife’s Hibiscus about 10 yards away. We treat that with Sevin powder somewhat successfully. But I don’t think they are the culprit on EEs. Can you make a suggestion as to my best starting point for stopping the munching – given I never see what is doing it?

This looks like slug damage to me. Slugs are rarely seen and eat plants at night.

Neem Oil is also a good choice for pest control in the garden. Neem Oil is organic and is safe for people, pets and Bees. It also works as a fungicide.
