Q.Elephant ear leaf turning brown and yellow
Elephant ear plant is now in it’s 4th year. Leaves are turning yellow and brown then curling. What can I do to treat it? We are on the east coast lower North Carolina zone 8. The only thing new is I have begun to deposit my chicken hay in front of the plants. Could it be too much moisture?

This appears to be a fungal infection, and could be some nutrient burn as well! Chicken manure will be quite strong uncomposted. I would remove the hay and treat with a fungicide.

Alternatively, treating with DOLOMITIC LIME and WETTABLE SULFUR will help alleviate infections as well.
