Q.Elderberry ,planted in spring ,is not growing. Looks healthy, had flowers but they fell off a month ago and now nothing. It seems
dormant. Why is it not growing? It is a small plant. The plant is a nice red but does not seem to want to grow. It has been watered regularly when planting it, compost was added. The plant gets shade as well as sun.
I'm including a few links to help you access the care.
You may want to have a soil test done to see if some amendments are needed.
Your County Extension Office can help you with a soil test for just a few dollars.
