I am growing eggplants for the first time. They were turning purple. Now they are turning lighter almost white. Have they rotted on the vine? Did I over water them? Did I under water them?

Some varieties of eggplant are white or striped. If they are still firm, I think they are fine.

If they are getting mushy, make sure they are getting enough water and that you are harvesting at the right time.
