Q.Edging Brick Driveway With Mini Succulents Grouped Closely Together

I’m edging a brick driveway with a 4-5 inch wide variety of mini succulents, all planted very close together and with black lava rock as the ground cover behind them into the flower beds. Can u offer any ideas on how best this should be done? a brim? Netting? Help! found pics online of this but no clue on what will work best. Thank you for ur time and input is so greatly appreciated. Lisa Two pics are the actual area I’m working ON and the last pic is what I’m trying to achieve. In a perfect world… haha I’m going To do MY best ThaTs all I can do. 🙂 Thank you again…
