Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI love edelweiss, but I live in Zone 9. Can I plant them in a pot on my window or on my porch? I have some really sunny windows inside, plus we have central air, but sometimes the windows get pretty warm anyway. Do you think the edelweiss would just die?
Thanks,
Kristen

Though it may not be ideal growing location in a zone 9 garden, I do think you could have some success in a pot, a cool location, and proper soil mixture.
Keep in mind that Edelweiss is a short lived perennial so you will need to reseed often to keep it going.
