Q.pomegranates
I have a pomegranate tree. It has a few pomegranates. When are they ready to eat? The seeds are red, skin is hard and dark green with some red?

Harvesting occurs approximately six to seven months after bloom. They have a base color of yellow with a bit of light pink or red on top. If the fruits over-mature, they will crack open. Tap the fruits that look fully ripe. Harvest if it makes a metallic sound, like tapping your fingernail on a metal pot.
