Dying Trees

I have some trees that are dying in my yard. They are different types of trees. Some are dogwoods and some are maples. It looks like half the limbs are dead on them. Some limbs are healthy with leaves. There are mostly dead limbs. We have lots of moles in our yard. I was wondering if they could be dying from grub worms? On one of the dogwood trees it looks like the trunk of the tree is decaying.

It sounds like you may have a fungus on the trees that are killing them. You can treat the trees with a fungicide, but it sounds like the fungus is pretty far progressed. You may want to bring a tree expert in to look at the trees and see if they have additional suggestions.
