Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a red top hedge. Some of the plants are dying. The leaves don’t seem to be infected. The branches develop a silver scale, first at the bottom and rising up the tree. The leaves die the higher up the tree it goes. Most of the leaves at the top look ok until the scale gets to them. How can I fix this?

This sounds like a pest infestation. The silvery scale may actually be a pest called scale. This article will help:
