Dying Marguerite buds

My Marguerite daisy blooms are dying before they bloom or shriveling up. They were doing well till a week ago. I live in AZ so the danger of frost is gone.

This sounds like a problem of sucking insects like thrips, aphids or mites. These can be very hard to see. They prefer new growth and. flower buds. Take a good close look.
