Dwarf Sweet Cherry tree

Some of the older leaves are turning brown, starting at the tip. This tree will be 2 yrs old this November. Does this sound like a disease or poor watering conditions?

Brown leaf tips are often caused by either excessive fertilizer or salt content in the soil, or by an inability of the roots to obtain enough water. Here is more information:
