Q.Dwarf Peach Tree

Anonymous added on April 25, 2013 | Answered

I live in Las Vegas. Spring of last year we planted a dwarf peach tree (it’s about 6 feet tall now). It did wonderfully through the summer, growing leaves but no flowers. After winter in the beginning of March, it started to grow new leaves at the buds and it also started to grow blossoms. We fertilized it with citrus spikes. The new leaf growth has died and the blossoms never bloomed and are dying. The tree stalks are still green but the small branches have died. Help!

Did you keep the tree watered during the winter? I don't have any other reason to offer except that maybe it got too dry during dormancy.
