Q.Dwarf “Little Miss Figgy” Not So Little

Zone Atlanta, GA | Anonymous added on October 26, 2021 | Answered

After the second year most of the branches of my two dwarf fig trees are at least 30 feet high. It’s a very healthy plant but hardly a dwarf. It receives 6 to 12 hours of direct sunlight. After the first year I pruned the 8 foot branches back to 5 feet.

It should only reach about 8 feet tall. I would continue to prune each year after fruiting.
