Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have several dwarf Burford hollies and they all seem to be dying of some disease. They appear beautiful and green (with berries) and then within a few weeks, the leaves all turn brown and fall off. I don’t see any evidence of anything on the roots. Two of the bushes are about 1 and 1/2 years old and now a large bush about 8 years old has died. I’m reluctant to plant any more. Any ideas?

There are a few things that can cause this. Holly scorch is the most common. This happens when the weather changes too quickly. The plant will recover from this on its own.
