Q.Duranta Erecta

I just received about a 2′ tree/shrub. I live in Minnesota and am wondering if I should just put it indoors so it can acclimate to indoor conditions for most of the year. Or, do I put it outside and shock it in early fall by bringing it in then. Thank you

You may want to enjoy it outdoors. It may not get enough light inside to bloom. You can cut it back some if it gets large before bringing it indoors. It may drop some leaves when you first bring it in, but then it will do fine over the winter. Take note that these plants are highly toxic. Here is more:
