Drought or bugs?

I treated my Zoysia lawn With insecticide and fertilizer from Lesco About four weeks ago. The grass was looking great and then we had a drought to come through where we have not had rain in a long time. We are trying to supplement by watering a little bit longer time frame and extra day a week. These dry/dead spots are getting worse and so I’m wondering if it’s in about four weeks ago. Any thoughts on what it is and how to treat us greatly appreciated.

This is a very drought tolerant grass, while also being very heat resistant. Unfortunately, this problem appears to be a little more sinister.

This is Zoysia Brown Patch. It is unlikely that the spores will be eliminated in the yard.

Also, unfortunately, this is caused by overwatering. It will not need supplemental watering since it is so drought tolerant.

Should I take to allow it to dry out or how to I avoid further damage? Will I need to resod?
