Q.Dropping Rose of Sharon leaves

The leaves are drooping, yellowing, and dropping. I’m worried the plant is to die!

– Bought 1 month ago from Lowes
– Repotted it and trimmed off 1/3 of the little branches
– It lives on our patio and gets 4-6 hours of sunlight per day
– I water it whenever the soil dries up more than 2″ below the surface.

It sounds like you are taking good care of it. The dropping leaves could be transplant shock. If so, keeping it well watered will help it recover. Also, growing it in a container will require more water, so it just may need more watering.
