Q.Dogwood tree

Anonymous added on June 2, 2015 | Answered

Our small dogwood tree has been blooming every spring for the past ten years. This year it never bloomed, nor does it have any leaves on it. My husband prunes in the fall only slightly. We have another beautiful dogwood with no problems, plus there are many of dogwoods up and down our road. The funny thing is, that around the trunk, small leaves have just appeared. Hope you can help. Thank you

This article should provide some clues as to why it's not blooming: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/ornamental/trees/dogwood/dogwood-tree-not-flowering.htm
