Q.Dogwood Tree

I have my dogwood tree for a few years now and recently saw its leaves kinda scorched like looking..wondeer if not enuf wateror fungus infection sort , please advise whaz the problem to rectify it…thanks.

It looks like there are holes in the bark, but I can't zoom in close enough. It could be borers. Here is a description of leaf scorch, which is common in dogwoods, but I don't see any brown edges on the leaves.
