Q.Dogwood has lots of new leaves but no blossoms

Zone Decatur, GA 30034 | mariecanadianlady added on March 29, 2015 | Answered

My dogwood tree was so full and lush last year, the most beautiful it has ever been. Nothing has changed but this year there are only two or three blooms. The tree is healthy and it appears it will have full leaves but no blossoms.

Here is an article that will help you which discusses flowering dogwood problems. What has the weather been like in Georgia? The reason I ask is because a cold snap in early spring can kill all of the blossoms, but leave the rest of the tree looking healthy.
