Q.Dog Urine

Anonymous added on April 25, 2011 | Answered

I have a round fountain in my garden, surrounded by about 12 inches of growing space. This border has a lot of problems. First, the soil is quite sandy, because we removed pavers to make room for the fountain — the pavers had been originally placed on a base of sand. Secondly, the ground is quite wet, due to the splashing of the fountain. I have been able to manage both of these conditions. My real problem is that this is my dog’s favorite place to pee. Any plant suggestions?

Sedums would do well there. They take a wide variety of conditions and spread well in sandy soil.
