Q.dog feces

Zone southwest lower Michigan | barrett.connie35 added on March 16, 2015 | Answered

Want to turn a yard that was inhabited by dogs (and cats) into a garden. Don’t know how to deal with the leftover feces problem from previous owners. They had a lot of dogs in both the front and backyard. Dogs had free range of both yards.

A food garden is not a good place for domestic pet feces. You will want to get a shovel and remove as much of the feces as you can find, place it inside a plastic bag and dispose of it in the trash.
