Q.Does The Browning Of These Leaves Caused By Underwatering It Or An Oak Blight?
It has been a hot summer and I try to water this oak tree as frequent as I can but the leaves are turning brown starting from its tip and spreads inwards. I also provided a small shade for this tree in case that it might be caused by the sun intensity. However, I read about how the oak blight can cause this as well and it’s the reason why we are losing population of our oak trees. So is this cause by underwatering or an oak blight? And if it is an oak blight which I know has no cure, how do I prevent this when I get a new one?

It could be oak bacterial leaf scorch (Xylella leaf scorch). Oak wilt also causes browning of leaves with green parts remaining. It also causes withering of leaves in the upper canopy. These articles should help decipher if it is one of these diseases and what to do.
