Does Japanese Forest Grass do well on the eastern shore of Maryland?

Question

Some people say it does fine, while others say we won’t be happy with it because it does not do well. We live on the water – could that be the issue? The area we propose is in the front of the home, not water side.

Our experts say this grass needs full shade in a well-drained area with nutrient rich soil. It needs moisture
but does not like soggy soil.
