Q.Does broccoli come back the next year?

I am wondering if I should yank out my broccoli plants now that I have harvested the heads? Will they come back next year if I don’t?

Once you harvest, you can leave them in the ground and get a second harvest. It will grow like small heads on the side of the original head. You can get about a half head's worth of broccoli this way. But other than that, the broccoli is done and will not grow a full head again, and therefore can be removed.
