Q.Does Anyone Have Pictures Of What Happens After Summer Pruning?

Zone Iraq | sazanrasool added on May 14, 2020 | Answered

I pruned my rosebush for the first time this summer. Does anyone know where I can find pictures of what should happen Week by week or can tell me what happens once pruned till they get to full bloom.

Once the rosebushes are pruned, it sends a signal to the rosebush overall including the root system. The leaf buds swell out of the canes and the rosebush leafs out. Soon new growth comes forth that will produce buds. The buds grow in size and swell as the petals inside the buds form up. Once the petals have formed up enough the buds push open to reveal their beauty. The timing varies depending on the various rosebushes. Give them some time and the joy of bloom will come.
