Q.Do You Live In A Place Close To The 2021 Wildfires?

Zone Hurst, TX USDA 7b-8a | luis_pr added on August 25, 2021 | Answered

The California/Nevada fires have been in the news for a while and some fires are expected to last into December. I was wondering, what plant/tree damage/injuries are you observing? Just wondering. Please elaborate regarding the plant type, approximate age and, only if available, include picture(s). Smoke is hazardous so please do not go outside just to take a picture to post in this reply. Take care of yourself first. “seal” the houses from the smoke if you can. Good luck!

We are located throughout the US, so some of us may have seen some damage from the fires. I, myself, am from the eastern side of the US, so I am not close to those fires, at all.

To get a good idea of what is going on with the western US, as far as wildfires go, may be to try forums based in that region. Places like Reddit and Quora can offer some information, as people are likely to post their experiences on such websites.

Unfortunately, users will not be able to post images, here. These replies will be, strictly, text based.
