Do you have to add more water to a Amaryllis that is in a vase?

I bought a Amaryllis from Home Depot about 5 weeks ago and it is in a vase with rocks in the bottom. The instructions just said add 2/3 cup of water when I get home and didn’t say anything else about watering it. There is no more water in the vase. Do I need to add more water?

Yes, you should replenish the water as needed, keeping it at least an inch below the bulb. Don’t allow the water in the vase touch, only the roots should make contact with the water, as this can cause the amaryllis bulb to rot.
