Harvesting Brussel Sprouts

Do you harvest Brussel sprouts after the first freeze? I was told that Brussel sprouts should not be picked until the first frost. They will taste much better. Is that true?

This really depends more on the variety planted and your region. It is generally better to wait until they have reached anywhere from 1/2 to 1 inch before harvesting. Here is more information:
