Do Weeping Bottlebrush Trees Drip Black Sap?

Question

My tree hovers near neighbors sidewalk and she said there are black marks on her sidewalk and asked me to trim my tree. Will it really drip black sap and if so, what time of year does that happen and for how long? Thx.

I am not finding any reference that says bottlebrush trees exude a black sap. Perhaps something else is causing the black marks. Here is more:
