Do u need a Male & female kumquat tree to get fruit?

I have a kumquat tree from last year. It is in a pot between my orange tree & my pomegranate tree. It almost died last year from no water during the evacuation from the fire. But it’s coming back. How do u tell a Male from a female kumquat tree?

Most Citrus are self-fruitful. You can have just one and have fruit.
