Do These Coprosma Need Shade In Very Hot Weather?

Watered daily early AM. Good drainage. We are in summer 100 degree plus temps. Should they be shaded? Lately temps over 105.

They can tolerate full sun. They do struggle a bit in hot weather, but they will also struggle in wet soil. Make sure that your soil is dry, thoroughly, down to about 3 to 5 inches between waterings. This will prevent disease, and root suffocation.

You may want to use a fungicide, as well.
